Start an EIMI Chapter at your school
A Chapter is a student group at one school. You need three members and a faculty mentor. It is free to register, and you file one report a year.
What a Chapter does
Partner with local clinics
Find hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities near you, walk them through EIMI, and fold the tools into how they already work.
- ✓Identify 3-5 potential partner clinics
- ✓Schedule introductory meetings
- ✓Present EIMI toolkit and training options
Print and distribute cards
Print “What Matters to Me” cards and the rest of the toolkit, get them into partner clinics, and track where they end up.
- ✓Download print-ready PDFs from Resources
- ✓Print in bulk (low-ink versions available)
- ✓Track distribution numbers
Collect and report data
Gather feedback from clinics using EIMI tools. Patient satisfaction, clinician experience, what’s working and what isn’t. Send it back so we can learn together.
- ✓Use standardized feedback forms
- ✓Conduct quarterly surveys
- ✓Submit data to EIMI central

Eight annual Chapter awards
Every registered Chapter can enter. Awards are judged on documented numbers, such as patient feedback, clinic partnerships, and materials handed out.
The eight categories
Each award is decided by a number we can check. Nominate your own Chapter. We read every submission.
Top Data Collector
For the Chapter whose feedback submissions are the most complete. Careful intake forms, follow-up surveys, the unglamorous work of measurement.
Most Partnerships
For the Chapter with the most active clinic and hospital partnerships, each with documented use of EIMI tools.
Greatest Impact
For documented gains in patient satisfaction, clinician-patient communication scores, and outcomes at partner sites.
Most Materials Distributed
